Salzburg July 10-11

We didn't plan very well on how to arrive to our hotel and ended up taking an hour walk to get there only to find out there is a bus that leaves directly from the train station to our hotel. Oh well! We walked around town, went to St. Peter's cemetery where we learned that they rent out the grave sites. Your family is sent a rent notice every 10 years and if it isn't renewed, your headstone is removed. We also saw Mozart's birth place, the Hohensalzburg Fortress, very big and was built for intimidation. It worked quite well until Napoleon came along and Salzburg surrendered.

The love grotto. One kiss inside and you'll have love everlasting.
