Linderhof Castle and Neuschwanstein Castle July 8
Unfortunately it was rainy but at least we were on the bus or inside for most of the bad weather. Both the Neuschwanstein and Linderhof castles were built by Kind Ludwig II. Both are absolutely stunning on the inside. The elaborate decorations were sometimes a bit much to take in. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside so if you have a few minutes I recommend googling the castles' interior. After going to the Linderhof castle and before Neuschwanstein Castle, we stopped in the little town of Oberammergau to do some shopping. We got back to Munich early evening so we went to dinner and then watched the unfortunate slaughter of Germany vs. Brazil in the World Cup.
