Day #6 Christmas Day

We decided to not set any alarms and to wake up when we wake up. It was nice to sleep in a little bit. We had Stolen bread (compliments of the Carlson family traditions) and Spanish sweet melon for breakfast. The Spanish melon is similar to honeydew back home but much tastier! After breakfast we did our Secret Santa gift exchange and then got ready to head out to see mine and Ben's school. Christmas day was the only day we had bad weather. When we got down to Alcorcon, it was pouring rain! Fortunately our schools are close together and not too far from the metro.

After taking some pictures of the schools we headed back for a relaxing afternoon/evening at home.

Christmas Eve, Amy getting ready for bed in her "cave". The room she is in has no windows and she put the blanket up on the side to block out the light from when Mom and Dad would get up in the morning.

Taking down the laundry.

Our Christmas shelf with our Christmas bush in the corner. I made the star at an origami class at my school.

Exchanging gifts and stockings.

Hanging out after dinner getting ready to watch a movie.
