Our landlord’s father came and fixed our washing machine. He
had to pull apart the back but he found a coin that was blocking the hose where
the water drains out! Thankfully it was an easy fix and now our clothes won’t
rain on our neighbor’s below us.
I went and got fingerprinted for my residency card Tuesday. In
one month I will have my card and I will be a legal resident of Spain! After wards
we went to a kebab restaurant with a few girls from the program and enjoyed some
yummy food.
Monday I went into my school and they still weren't quite
ready because the bilingual coordinator had misunderstood what my position was. I am the first teacher from this program to be at this school and as I said before, information does not seem to be readily shared between departments so she wasn't exactly sure who I was when I showed up the first time in September. She thought I was an auxiliary, a language assistant, and so she had only
scheduled me for 16 hours in the class when I actually need 23 hours. She is working
on my schedule and hopefully I will start by the end of this week. I was able to meet most of the teachers I will be working with so that was fun. I go back in
Wednesday to have the principal sign some paperwork and with any luck my schedule
will be ready!
Step by step! Necessitas paciencia cuando estes en Espana, no!? jaja
ReplyDeleteGood you guys won't get your neighbors' clothes wet anymore ;)
